Welcome to the Tutor Tools Sussex websiteThis website has been developed from the successful Pan-Sussex Tutor Help CD ROM, which was distributed to all tutors across Sussex in the Summer 2003. The West Sussex Adult Education Service developed the content for the CD Rom and this website in partnership with their colleagues throughout East Sussex and Brighton & Hove. This Pan Sussex, cross-county initiative has been supported through the Sussex Learning and Skills Council. The material contained within this resource has been carefully prepared to further enhance effective teaching and learning. Contributions from a variety of experienced practitioners have been selected and offered here as examples of good practice. You will have the opportunity to explore creative methods to plan, prepare and deliver a course that matches the needs of your learners. Activities that focus on creating a safe and positive learning environment provide a useful foundation to underpin knowledge. This website embraces the challenge of creating and using effective resources for both you and your learners. You can also delve into the book reviews and investigate a range of professional development activities. The website has been created and designed by Getfrank, a Brighton based website development company. The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is responsible for planning and funding education and training for over 16-years-old in England.
